I’m available for family shoots on Oahu now! Here are a few photos from last week’s Kahala beach photoshoot. The Okamotos were a blast to photograph and we all had a great time.
Contact me for rates. Thanks!

Stuck inside with 2 kids is tough. Its cool to figure out fun things to do. I never thought driving around would be considered an activity.
Dusted off the ol Canon 5d for a few photos of the long hair hippy kids.
I’ve been taking photos at Yoga Under the Palms in Kailua for a few months. Here’s a few I like:
I got the chance to take some staff photos this week. The project initially started as plain ol’ headshots but about halfway through we realized some of the goofier photos were the best. I would personally rather see an “about us” page with silly photos showing the people are actually humans and not worker robots.
A few of my favorite photos from the last few days. All taken with a Canon 5d mk iv and a Canon 24-70L 2.8.
Cheap oceanfront property on Oahu with views of Diamond Head. Available now.
My dad has a big ol motor boat and took us for an amazing ride today. We cruised around in front of Waikiki and enjoyed the view. It was unfortunately a little too windy to swim today.
I brought my drone but forgot to charge the batteries. Ugh. But got some photos with the Canon 5d.
From thorns to flowers the Bougainvillea plant covers both ends of the spectrum. Taken at Iolani Palace in Honolulu with a Canon 5d and 24-70mm L lens.
Bougainvillea was the only thing that would grow at my house when I was a kid. I always had to trim the plants and repeatedly tore apart my hands on the thorns. I hated it. Only now, 30 years later can I appreciate this beautiful plant.
I had another successful wedding photoshoot this weekend at the YWCA in Kaneohe. A beautiful spot directly on Kanoe Bay. It was a semi-casual wedding and I’ll post more photos when I edit them.
I’d love to take your wedding photos! Contact me!
A few photos from an epic sunset at Koolina on Oahu’s west side taken with a Canon 5d and 24-70mm L lens. I was all excited about flying the drone around Koolina but its deep in a no-fly-zone because of the nearby airport.
Oh well, the sunset wasn’t too shabby. I almost totally kook’d it in the second photo and barely made it back up the rocks without getting washed away before the wave hit. I was WAY too close to the waves. There was a huge swell filling in that evening. No wonder so many people get hurt. The Hawaiian ocean can change on you so quickly.
