I loved the lighting, a soft white light reflecting off the buildings across the street was perfect. Also the beautiful red bricks always a reminder that you’re in Chinatown.
From thorns to flowers the Bougainvillea plant covers both ends of the spectrum. Taken at Iolani Palace in Honolulu with a Canon 5d and 24-70mm L lens.
Bougainvillea was the only thing that would grow at my house when I was a kid. I always had to trim the plants and repeatedly tore apart my hands on the thorns. I hated it. Only now, 30 years later can I appreciate this beautiful plant.
I had another successful wedding photoshoot this weekend at the YWCA in Kaneohe. A beautiful spot directly on Kanoe Bay. It was a semi-casual wedding and I’ll post more photos when I edit them.

Diamond Head to Downtown Honolulu from my Mavic 2 pro. This was up about 1300 feet above Kahala beach park. The remote started getting laggy at this distance but i managed to snap this photo. Its so cool seeing these angles that you could previously only capture from a helicopter.

Flew the drone around Iolani Palace for a few mins before it was attacked by 30+ aggressive birds and I ran away. Heres a shot of the iconic Hawaiian flag flying high above the front of the palace.
I always try to take photos from odd or different angles. My Mavic 2 pro drone helps out a lot with that.

Found this drone photo of Turtle Bay and Resort on the North Shore of Oahu. I was with my family lounging at Kawela Bay and luckily I brought my Mavic 2 pro drone to see how all the rich people vacation.

Downtown, Honolulu, Hawaii. All the bike racks downtown are shaped like bicycles. I found this funny looking “zooe bike” and snapped a rainy photo. I can’t seem to find any info about this bike online.
